By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, July 29: Ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called an all-party meeting for Wednesday morning to discuss the Sunsari incident and other current issues.
The decision was made following the sensitive and tragic incidents that happened in recent days in Sunsari district. RSP has called a meeting at Singha Durbar for 8 am.
A statement signed by RSP General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya informed that all parliamentary parties, including those led by Upendra Yadav, Mahantha Thakur, and CK Raut, have been invited to participate in the discussion.
Acharya informed that letters have been sent to all parties. The President has also personally called the leaders and invited them.
“While administrative efforts are ongoing to maintain harmony and peace and security by minimizing the hatred that may spread socially in the face of this extremely sensitive and tragic incident and the uncomfortable situation it has caused, we have organized the discussion as we feel the need for a collective message and appeal politically as well," General Secretary Acharya stated.
Curfew order issued in Sunsari
Meanwhile, RSS adds: The Sunsari District Administration Office has again issued a curfew order in various areas of the district from 3:00 pm today until further notice.
The Office has issued the curfew order until further notice in accordance with Section 6 (a) of the Local Administration Act, 2028 BS.
Chief District Officer Ishwari Prasad Aryal issued the curfew order that applies in different parts of the district. No gathering, visits, assemblies, meetings are allowed until further notice, it is said.
