Kathmandu, July 22: The government has endorsed the agreement reached with the victims
of loan shark and declared all forged documents as illegal.
Sasmit Pokharel,
government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports, said this while making
public the decisions of the meeting of the Council of Ministers today.
The government and then
agitating victims of loan shark had reached agreement on 17 July.
The Cabinet meeting
designated Basu Dev Acharya as the chairman of the special court. Acharya is
judge at the high court, Tulsipur. Similarly, the judge of Surkhet high court
Dipendra Adhikari has been appointed as the chairman of Labour court.
Sailesh Raj Kunwar has
been named as the administrator of the Guthi Sansthan.
The Cabinet also
decided to provide full concession on fee for landing, parking and navigation
and 50% discount on ground handling fee for international flights from Pokhara
and Gautam Buddha international airports till 15 September 2028.
