Kathmandu, July 22: Ramada by Wyndham Itahari has announced its support for devotees taking part in the Bol Bam Yatra this Shrawan, a sacred pilgrimage that draws thousands of pilgrims every year.
The package includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room, buffet breakfast, a 15 percent discount on additional dining, and access to the pool and fitness center. The single stay rate is priced at Rs 6,500, while the couple stay rate is Rs 7,500, with both rates exclusive of applicable taxes, the hotel stated in a press release.
Speaking on the initiative, General Manager Abhimanyu Kayastha said “The Bol Bam Yatra holds deep spiritual significance for the region, and Ramada by Wyndham Itahari felt it was important to stand alongside the pilgrims who undertake this journey of faith each year”.
The hotel hopes that by offering support along the way, it can help make the pilgrimage a little easier while honoring the devotion behind it.
The yatra begins at Barahakshetra, Chatara, where devotees collect holy water from the Saptakoshi River, and continues on foot to Pindeshwor Mahadev Temple in Dharan, where the water is offered to Lord Shiva as Jalabhishek.
The pilgrimage is rooted in the belief that the Shiva Linga at Pindeshwor manifested from the divine essence of Amrit after the celestial battle between the Devas and Asuras, making the temple one of eastern Nepal's most revered shrines of Lord Shiva.
